A self-made recap of all 39 songs competing in the 55th Eurovision Song Contest, to be held in the Telenor Arena (Oslo, Norway) on May 25th (1st semi), May 27th (2nd semi) and May 29th (final). The countries are in alphabetical order. The draw will be held Tuesday March 23rd.
Out of 17 songs, 10 songs will proceed to the big final to be held Saturday May 29th. The same goes for the second semi-final. Along with the Big 4 (countries inmediately placed for the final, Germany, United Kingdom, Spain and France) and host country Norway, 25 acts will compete in the final. This year, 50% of the total results from every country will be provided by a professional jury of music experts, while the other 50% will come from the televoting.
The hosts are Erik Solbakken, Haddy Jatou N'jie and Nadia Hasnaoui. Erik and Haddy will welcome all the viewers and talk to the participants in the greenroom, while Nadia will do the voting in the semi-finals (the envelopes) and final (the actual voting)
39 countries will take part this year: last year there were 42. Georgia returned this year after one year of absence, while Andorra, Montenegro, Czech Republic and Hungary decided not to take part this year.
